Concept:
Acrylic is one of the trendiest and most versatile materials you’ll find in home decor. The styling of this material among your other decor and the way it reflects light gives your home visual energy. Normally this translucent material is used in furniture like accent chairs and mod coffee tables. It got our designers thinking: How do we incorporate this unique finish into a ceiling fan?
Design:
Our designers love a challenge. Designing a ceiling fan involves a lot of collaboration: Group sketch sessions, perfecting blade shapes with our engineering team, customizing finishes with our production team. This fan was no exception. And the result is a unique design the ceiling fan and home design industries need!
Testing and Manufacturing:
Acrylic material can pose a challenge when it comes to ceiling fan performance. We worked to ensure that the Park View looks good and still meets our quality standards for high airflow and quiet operation. Our in-house engineering team spent hours bringing to life a design that we could proudly add the Hunter logo to. We optimize our materials for quality and aesthetic. Then we test each product twice the amount industry standard requires.
The Final Product:
The finished product is a sleek and stylish testament to the power of good design. We love it so much our designers worked to make it available in more finishes, sizes, and we even made an outdoor version!
