Brooke recently bought a house in the historical Cooper-Young neighborhood of Memphis, Tennessee. This area if full of hip styles, artsy vendors, and is home to some of the best BBQ in the state! Brooke has a lovely home, but her bedroom needed a few updates. We performed a coastal-modern Huntervention® and are so happy with the results!
BEFORE
Prior to our quick updates, Brooke had an older fan that wasn’t cooling the way she desired, and she had a room that lacked a sense of unified style.

We knew we wanted to upgrade her existing fan with a powerful, statement-piece coastal ceiling fan. We also decided to update her bedding and add a few finishing touches with décor.
After our process of choosing the ceiling fan, making a mood board (thank you, Pinterest), and ordering the items, we were ready to tackle this project! We met at Brooke’s house and started this Huntervention!
ABOUT THE FAN
Let’s start with our favorite part of every Huntervention – the ceiling fan. Every person in our company plays an important roll in the making and executing of new and existing products. At Hunter, we love seeing all our hard work come to life!
We chose the Norden ceiling fan because of its beautiful Scandinavian design and efficient DC motor. The real wood blades are stained so that the natural wood variations show through. This statement fan also features an integrated LED light, preinstalled remote receiver, and a powerful six-speed DC motor. We are OBSESSED with the Norden, and we knew Brooke would be too!
THE DETAILS
The ceiling fan may be our favorite part of Hunterventions, but we’d be lying if we said we didn’t enjoy decorating too! We chose a coastal-modern style for this room. The Norden’s Scandinavian style worked well with this vision.
What we did:
- Updated bedding
- Add two mirrors
- Added a lamp and knick-knacks to the dresser
- Hung wall art
These updates took no time and made a world of difference!
